Here is some important information about how you can support Bath Foodbank this winter and our opening times during the Christmas period.

You can donate food

If you would like to donate food to Bath Foodbank, please do this by buying in store and putting the items in one of the collection points. You can see the store locations HERE.  

The items below are our most needed items:

  • Tinned Carrots & Peas
  • Tomato Pasta Sauce (Jars)
  • Tinned Fruit
  • Tinned Meat
  • Tinned Soup
  • Tinned Fish
  • Long Life Juice
  • Toilet Roll
  • Dental Products
  • Shampoo
  • Soap

You can also download the BanktheFood app onto your phone or your computer and get regular updates of the items we need most.  Just register and then choose Bath Foodbank.

Christmas Opening Hours

Foodbank Centres opening times:

Open as usual up to and including Thursday 21st December at our centres in Twerton and Odd Down

Open as usual up to and including Friday 22nd December at our Manvers Street centre (central)

Closed Saturday 23rd December           

Closed Sunday 24th December

Closed Monday 25th December – Christmas Day

Closed Tuesday 26th December – Boxing Day

Closed Wednesday 27th December

Closed Thursday 28th December

Open Friday 29th December for both collections and deliveries* – Manvers Street Centre (central) from 12:30 to 2:30pm.

Closed Saturday 30th December

Closed Sunday 31st December – New Year’s Eve

Closed Monday 1st January – New Year’s Day

Open as normal again from Tuesday 2nd  January at both our centres in Twerton and Odd Down

Open as normal again from Wednesday 3rd January at our Manvers Street centre

*Deliveries are for those who are unable to collect from our foodbank centres for medical or mental health reasons. We will only accept requests from the organisation making the foodbank referral.  It is essential that we are provided with a contact number for those receiving deliveries.  We deliver within the Bath area only.

  • Our last delivery before Christmas is Thursday 21st December between 12pm – 4pm. The cut-off time for this is 11am on Thursday 21st December.  Any deliveries requested after this time will be arranged for Friday 29th of December.
  • For deliveries on Friday 29th December the cut off time for requests is 11am Friday 29th  December, and food will be delivered between 12pm – 4pm on this day.  Any requests after this time delivery will be arranged for the following week on our normal delivery days of Wednesdays and Thursdays.
