Donate food

Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food. Our shopping list on the right shows the food items that we need right now.

Different ways to donate:

Download the BanktheFood app

A better way to stay up to date with our most needed food items is to download the BanktheFood app available on Android and Apple. It is an amazing tool that gives you a weekly updated list of food needs. Know what we need before you shop. Purchase the items in store and place them in our donation bins after the till. You can scan the QR code below to download.

Donate online using Give Today

Click HERE to go to our Give Today page and see our most needed item list. You can pick what you want to donate, pay online and then Give Today will deliver the food directly to our warehouse.

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks or other charity projects in the Bath area to support their work particularly if they are experiencing shortages. This ensures that your donations are always used to benefit people in Bath and other local communities.

If you are planning a large collection of food, please contact us beforehand, so that we can discuss the best timing of this, and advise you of any particular needs. This allows us to tailor the generosity of those giving with the needs at the time.

Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.
