The Bath Foodbank has been incredibly busy over the festive period and we would like to take a moment to thank our wonderful community of supporters for all the ways that you helped us this Christmas. Whether you donated festive food, money or volunteered your time, we were truly amazed by your generosity. Thank you!
This year we also ran a Christmas Gifts appeal, so that we could buy toy vouchers for the children of people receiving Bath Foodbank parcels. Thanks to your donations we were able to give families a £20 voucher for each child, which helped them to buy a Christmas present for under the tree. We gave out almost £4,000 of toy vouchers for The Entertainer Toy Store (thanks also to The Entertainer for adding 10% of the total value in additional vouchers). People receiving these vouchers included dads who were seeing their children at Christmas but would otherwise have struggled to give them a present.
Thank you once again for helping us to keep our delivery service going over the Christmas period. It was not only food that you helped us to deliver, but joy and hope too.
